Hello Everyone,
Three months from today we leave for our Africa trip.
We have added a page with our itinerary and links to
the places we will be staying. Check it out!
Last weekend Mary Jo and I were awarded a $1,000.00
grant from Alpha Delta Kappa for covering the cost
of some our traveling expenses, entrances to museums, etc!
Earlier in the year we were awarded a $500.00 grant from
our Maple Hills P.T.A. The money will be used to pay for educational
supplies we are taking with us to give to the schools
we visit. It will also help pay for things we buy
to bring back to our classrooms.

I'm excited to follow your trip via your blog, especially since I can't fit in your suitcase!
I am so excited for the two of you! I believe traveling makes us better citizens of the world. It also makes grateful for all we have and what we can do!
